A tribute to my land...

The Mighty Brahmaputra..
Oh,Mighty Brahmaputra
Thou art so vast and deep
All the year moving so fast
Seem your surface's calm
But, the current underflowing
Rapid and thrust
The Umananda, Majuli is in your heart
Devotees worship Lord with trust
Sandhya-lalita-kanta
The well-known crysal streams
Crystals of everyone's dream
And Kamakhya,the holy shrine
All these, splendours of thine


p.s--This happens to be my first poem........ penned long ago.. when I was in class 7... Its a tribute to my land..to the mighty river which quenches the thirst of my people......

You sow a thought, you reap an action
You sow an action, you reap a habit
You sow a habit, you reap a character
You sow a character, you reap your destiny
......... With these thoughts . i just try to pursue to put my thoughts in expressible form..
